Extended Family Photos North Shore Photographer

Through my many years as a photographer, I have become a family photographer Boston clients have grown to love. They recognize my work as masterful, wholesome and fun. I strive to deliver photos that are as beautiful as they are touching, making my photographs beloved keepsakes that can be cherished by the whole family for years to come. It is my belief that family is perhaps the most important thing in a person’s life, and capturing that on film is my greatest passion.

In order to truly tie in the family dynamic as one unique whole, I like to get together with my clients before the big day and discuss some of the finer details with them. Oftentimes, this includes the colors they will wear. I like for the colors to complement each other as it makes for stunning photos, and in some cases, I like the colors to match. Different shades of blues or greens or reds are versatile options. I will also choose a background and props that complement the color scheme, such as a grassy field or a nice warm blanket in similar colors.

With the colors selected, it is then time to perform my job and be the family photographer Boston families know and love. First, I enjoy taking group shots of the entire family together. This not only solidifies that family dynamic, but it allows me to capture in one or more shots, several generations of the same family which I find to be an extraordinary sight to behold. From there, I break the family into different segments. I will have the children photographed with grandmother and grandfather, or mother and father with their children, the siblings together, and so on.

I like to especially focus on the children, as they are often the light of the rest of the family’s life. Focusing on the older children first allows them to just be themselves in front of the camera without the watchful eye of the other family members. This is where we get their cheeky smiles and devious smirks; twinkles in their eyes or their toothy grins as they laugh and play. Then, we involve any younger children, such as infants, and let them do the same atop a soft blanket. I love capturing their innocent smiles mid-laugh or the way they curiously reach for the items in nature that are around them.

Finally, I let the children be photographed with their parents. Sometimes this means both children with both parents. Other times, I like to separate them and let each parent have a child, as a child’s relationship with one parent in particular will come out nicely. There is a special bond between father and child, as well as mother and child, and this is something unique that I try to capture on film.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to family photography, and I enjoy mixing and matching them all. If you have interest in my Boston family photography services, you can reach me by PHONE/EMAIL to discuss the details of your family portraits.

Boston Family Portrait Session

Boston Family Portrait Photography • Middleton MA

In my time as a Boston portrait photographer, I have been able to take advantage of many wonderful opportunities to showcase the special love and care between family members. I believe that every single member of the family is important. Each one plays a vital role in the happy dynamic of the family–even the family dog! I like to show pictures of everyone together as a whole, as well as different pairings and solo shots to see the interaction between each member of your family to help me become a family photography Boston service clients can rely on.

With the Zenga family, I started with a visit to their home to take a few group snapshots of them in familiar surroundings where they ultimately spend the most time. The home visit included outdoor family portraits on the lawn as they played and had fun together. Next, the family sat down in the grass where they all posed together for a classic shot with their dog at their side. I took a few solo shots of him as well. Also included were several pictures of random rooms in the home creating a remembrance of what the home looked like as the children grew up.

Then, we divided up the family into different pairs of children with respective parents. I find as a Boston portrait photographer that children sometimes act and appear differently with each parent, so I like to capture that dynamic, too. There are, of course, photos of each child on their own so that I can allow each one of their personalities to shine through as individuals.

Sometimes, I will use symbolic shots. I chose to have the older daughter lead the younger child across a quaint, wooden footbridge as they held hands with each other. To me, these outdoor family portraits symbolized the path that the older sister helps to shape, showing how much loving influence a big sister has on the baby of the family.

Photos of the happy parents were also included. I like to look at old photos of the couple together and take a few shots that resemble these so that they may put them side by side and see that their love has never changed throughout the years. I then take unique shots that will allow the parents to have new memories to share.

A few playful shots are also included in these sets. Shots of one of the children laughing merrily on her mothers back, for instance, is one of the ways I show the dynamic between mother and child. The genuine innocence of the children is also displayed, with photos of them playing in fields of breathtaking flowers. For an added, silly bonus, I even got a shot of one of the children playing dress up!

Great Brook Farm State Park | Family Portrait Photographer

Boston Family Portrait Photographer

Family Photography Boston • Great Brook Farm State Park, Carlisle

As a Boston portrait photographer, I have spent much time taking different sorts of photographs in different settings. What I enjoy capturing the most are images of the family dynamic, one of the most important facets of life. There are many Boston family photographers out there, but I feel I hold a certain passion for displaying the love between family members and not just a few pretty faces. There is something to be said about the way siblings interact with each other, and parents with the children, and I intend to showcase that with every photo I take.

The Kostanski family recently requested my services, and I happily agreed, eager to see their special dynamic. Family photography that Boston residents can look to for quality service is my goal, and I was able to deliver. We started with simple family portraits moving onto the traditional photos of the parents swinging their daughter between them as they took a quick stroll, followed by grassy shots of them all together. Then, I took it to the next step by having them pose as a family on a woody path in the forest. I allowed this to symbolize the long, yet beautiful, road of parenthood. Of course, a few pictures were taken of the children with each parent separately.

I then put my focus on the young children of the family. The older child had a few solo shots taken while playing in a lovely field of purple flowers which truly complemented her stunning, blonde hair. A few shots in the grass were taken of the baby in the family, simply being her innocent self and laughing as she watched butterflies float about. It was time for duo photos of the siblings; I captured many of the older child kissing the baby or simply resting together on a grassy patch. These photos captured the children being sweet to one another, showcasing the gentle nature of children.

What I have learned as a Boston portrait photographer is to include a few fun shots in the photo session, and for the Kostanski family this included a visit to a petting zoo! This would let the children’s imagination and curiosity run wild, picturing them in their natural state–always learning. There were a few shots of the playful family in descending height and some with the parents in the background while the children rested in the foreground; I particularly liked these shots because they were symbolic of the independent people these children would one day become.

I focused on the baby once again, taking a few traditional photos of the baby’s feet for a completed feel that rounded out the rest of the photos. These pictures displayed a sweet bond between mother and child as the mother gently held onto the child’s feet and legs. Finally, we took some action shots of the children running and playing with their parents.

Boston family photographers often leave out the emotion behind the shots, but I make sure my family photography Boston work is exceptional and unique in that way. Contact me at PHONE/EMAIL to schedule your photoshoot with me, and show the world the powerful love in your family.

Boston Children Photography • Outdoor Kid Portrait Ideas

Your children are the light of your life, and with my take on children portrait photography, I hope to showcase just how incredibly special they are to you as well as you to them. I have been given the special opportunity multiple times to take kids professional photos, and each and every experience leaves me more inspired and delighted than the last one. Every family dynamic is unique, and I intend to bring out your individual personalities with every photo I take of yours. Kids professional photos look great in studio settings, but I find they have an even greater appeal in the outdoors with natural light and surroundings.

I enjoy capturing children in their daily routines, such as having a tasty snack or playing with their favorite toys. As they grow up, these moments will be the ones you remember the most as they play and learn every day, so it is important to me that I retain them on film. Getting shots of them in different, adorable outfits while they play in front of my camera is another way I capture their day-to-day experiences, showing them going about their young lives with you.

As children are much more difficult to instruct than the ease in which adults are directed, I often allow the child to simply have a good time and play before me. Laughing at butterflies, smiling at their parents and zooming around in an all out run are perfect opportunities to capture your child’s fun personality. Therefore, their poses often come naturally and without much direction, letting their inner beauty and innocence shine through. I do, however, try to take simple, posed photos as well. This includes little poses such as the child standing before a nice backdrop or just casually sitting in a grassy patch or small chair.

Children portrait photography has its place in my work, but capturing the family all together is another passion of mine. As someone offering outdoor portrait photographer Boston services, I aim to get my clients out into our wonderful city to take those beloved family portraits. Not only do I film the family playing and having fun together, I like to get pictures of each parent individually with the child to show the bond between mother and child, along with the bond between father and child respectively. I find he or she reacts in a pleasantly different way with each parent, thus making these photos special and unique to your family.

For a truly amazing perspective, taking multi-generational photographs is key. If the client so wishes, I can involve other members of the family, such as a grandmother or grandfather, within these cherished photos. This allows you to show off the family resemblance as well as get everyone together for a special moment in time to let them be a part of these timeless photos.

I would love the opportunity to show you why I am passionate about the family portrait photographer Boston services I offer. Please contact me at phone/email and allow me to showcase your wonderful family in keepsakes that will be loved for years to come.

Newborn Photography | Boston MA

Boston Newborn Photographer | Boston MA

Boston Photographer • Boston Family Portrait Photos

Your child’s first few weeks of life are incredibly precious. Before you know it, your newborn baby will be talking and walking, and those sleepless nights will suddenly become sorely missed opportunities to hold your little one in your arms. Baby pictures are something that not only the parents, but the child, too, will adore and cherish as the years wane on. As a Boston newborn photographer, I am grateful for the chance to capture these beautiful moments with your child in many stunning settings and poses that show off the everlasting love between parent and child from even the earliest of days.
In my photography, I like to capture the family dynamic as well as individual photographs of the newborn. Just as you take your little one out into the world to take in all the sights and sounds of the earth, I like to entice the senses with outdoor settings, such as a park or a lake. I choose visually stunning, natural backdrops like vibrant trees that accentuate the happy family without taking away from their beauty. In lieu, as you can see in this gallery, I take a few family portrait style photos of the parents cradling their child lovingly, displaying the love shared between both mother and father, as well as the love between parents and child. Along with family portraits, I take shots of each parent alone with the child for a truly intimate moment captured on film.
Baby pictures in the family home are also important, as that is where you will spend most of your time with the child. I use your home as a comfortable setting for another family portrait that is sure to bring about memories of all of the time spent with your newborn each time you gaze upon these pictures. To really show the love between the members of the family, I take shots that show the child looking up at the parents with love in its eyes, as well as parents gazing down endearingly at the baby in their arms. Snapshots of their tiny hands and feet are fantastic for showing just how little and innocent they truly are, and as your baby blooms into a toddler and beyond, you will be able to look back upon these photos and see the growth made evident.
In lieu of capturing the child in all of its states, not only do I get shots of the happy, bubbly baby, I let he or she just be his or herself in front of the camera. Babies are not going to respond to direction in the same way adults do, so the results you see on film are the true essence of your baby’s personality. Sleepy photos on soft blankets are included, along with shots of the newborn yawning and displaying fussy little pouts. These expressions are all part of your child’s budding personality, and I hope to take pictures that will tell a story and have you remembering every single instance of time spent with your newborn, no matter their mood.
I offer Boston newborn photography services that give you priceless moments forever cemented on film for you and your child to enjoy for the rest of their lives. Contact me at email/phone to learn more and let me show you my talent and passion as a Boston newborn photographer.
